Ripsu on kuvannut omassa kodissaan lavastettuja omakuvia. Ripsun tavaramerkkejä ovat teatraalisuus, leikkisyys ja huumori sekä kirkkaat saturoituneet värit. Värierotteluille ja painamiselle tämä loi oman haasteensa, mutta lopputulos onnistui hienosti.
