Global Delivery

Ordering from our store is easy all over the world. Shipments will generally be mailed the next business day following your order, and we offer several payment and delivery methods. The products are always carefully packed in protective cardboard boxes or envelopes to ensure that your shipment arrives safely. Once your order has been shipped, you will receive a confirmation from us via SMS and a tracking link to your email (note that the tracking link does not apply to standard letter shipments).

Payment methods

We offer debit and credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, and American Express), Finnish online banking and PayPal as payment methods. It is also possible for Finnish customers to pay by invoice or installment payment (as long as the permanent address and billing address are in Finland). You can find more detailed information in the delivery and payment terms.


We will ship your order the next business day after ordering. Depending on the size of the order and the destination country, letter and parcel options are available as delivery options. You will find all available delivery methods and delivery time estimates listed at checkout.

In continental Europe, we offer a package delivered by GLS for shipments under 3 kg for € 9.9. The package is mainly delivered to your door (excl. Sweden, where shipments are delivered to pick-up points).

If you want to take advantage of the buyer protection provided by PayPal or a credit card, do not opt ​​for letter delivery, as the arrival of letters cannot be verified due to a lack of tracking of the shipment.

Delivery restrictions

For now, we do not ship to the following countries:

  • Great Britain (due to customs problems due to Brexit)
  • Monaco (due to customs restrictions)
  • Russia and Belarus (due to matters regarding the war in Ukraine)

Different Customs Restrictions vary by country, and changes may occur on a short-term schedule. Some countries have also restricted the publication of publications on certain topics (e.g., certain political literature in China). Please check the Finnish Post Office's Country-specific restrictions for more detailed information before placing your order. Finlandia Kirja is not responsible for the delay / loss / return of the shipment or the additional costs incurred as a result of ordering content that violates the customs restrictions of the destination country.

Other considerations

Covid-19 may occasionally cause significant delays in international deliveries due to sudden changes in mail routes. It is a good idea to prepare for these, especially when ordering to more distant countries.

Please make sure the address and contact information are correct when ordering. In international shipments, the resolution of incorrect address information is often very slow and, at worst, may result in the complete loss of the shipment. Finlandia Kirja does not take responsibility for a shipment that is lost due to an incorrect address provided by the subscriber.

To ensure that the shipment arrives, we need the recipient's mobile phone number, as arrival notifications are usually sent via SMS. The shipping company may not call the recipient in the destination country if the phone number is not local. So try to use the phone number of the destination country. Please also include the international area code (eg +358401234567).
