Pyhä koulu kertoo lapsuudesta Savossa 1960 - 1970-luvulla. Kansa- ja pyhäkoulua käytiin kiltisti, vaikka muuten ei aina kilttejä oltukaan. Vanhemmat arvostivat koulutusta, jota vaille itse olivat jääneet, joten oppikouluun tie vei.
