Tämä runoteos on lahtelaisen Arja Kotirannan neljäs Lappiaiheinen ”lyriikan lapsi”, jonka hän synnytti ikuisen ikävän, kirvelevän kaipauksen kaihertaessa; käsitellen myös menneitä aikoja, entisajan ja muistojen värittämää historian hiljaista havinaa. Kirjan kuvitus on tunnelmia syventävää ja koostuu Kotirannan omista valokuvista ja piirroksista. Kirjan englanninkielisistä käännöksistä vastaa Peter Sundholm.
This poetry book is the fourth ”lyrical child”, conceived by Lapland, by Arja Kotiranta from Lahti, Finland. The book is born out of a gnawing grief and an ancient longing; also dealing with past times, flying through memories on wings of history. The the pictures and illustrations in the book are by Kotiranta, contributing to the mood of the poems. English translations by Peter Sundholm.
