Filippa Hella är illustratör och författare bosatt i Borgå. Serpentiner, stjärnor och snö är hennes andra barnbok. Filippa Hella leder bild- och ordkonstverkstäder för barn och färgbad för bebisar. År 2019 tilldelades hon Stella Parlands pris.
I hennes tidigare produktion ingår bland annat pekboken Färgbad, allåldersboken ABC i Borgå och den konsthistoriska bilderboken Ville Vallgren och grisevännen. Diktboken jag lindar mitt hjärta utkom år 2022 och utsågs till en av årets vackraste böcker.
