Tintin isän, belgialaisen Hergén (1907-1983) syntymästä tuli viime vuonna kuluneeksi sata vuotta.
Juhlavuoden kunniaksi kaikki Tintti-klassikot julkaistaan uudelleen kovakantisena sarjana: ensimmäiset kuusi kirjaa saatiin syksyllä 2006, ja nyt osien 19-24 ilmestyessä kerran kuussa sarja tulee komeasti täyteen.
Albumien numerointi vastaa ensimmäisen kerran niiden alkuperäistä ilmestymisjärjestystä.
