Ihmisen fysiologia ja anatomia antaa perustiedot ihmiselimistön rakenteen ja toiminnan ymmärtämiseksi. Se on tarkoitettu ensisijaisesti ammattikorkeakoulujen terveysalan opiskelijoille ja tarkoituksena on antaa hoitotyön tieteellistä pohjaa.
