Suomalaisen Kirjallisuuden Seuran juhlavuoden kirja on viehättävä kuvateos, joka esittelee piirroksin SKS:n tiloja. Seura on toiminut Helsingin Kruununhaassa Hallituskatu 1:ssä arkkitehti, vapaaherra Sebastian Gripenbergin suunnittelemassa uusrenessanssitalossa sen valmistumisvuodesta 1890 lähtien. Nykyään Seuran osastoja ja toimintoja on useassa eri osoitteessa Kruununhaassa ja sen ulkopuolella Vantaata ja Joensuuta myöten.
