Kansalaiset on neljännesvuosisadan (1981-2006) laajuinen kokoelma. Siinä ajassa maailma, jopa Suomi, ehti muuttua kokonaan toisenlaiseksi. Tämä ei ole jäänyt Kimmo Räisäsen kameralta huomaamatta.
Kansalaiset on poliittinen kokoelma. Räisänen jäljittää ihmistä, ihmisen sisintä, muuttumatonta ihmisessä.
Zitizens is a collection that spans a quartercentury (1981-2006). In that period, the world - even Finland - has become totally different. This did not go unnoticed by Kimmo Räisänen and his camera.
Zitizens is a political collection. Räisänen seeks the essence of man, our inner core, that which is immutable in us.
