Sofia Aittomaan toimittama Kokoelma Sigurd Frosterus on ainutlaatuinen tutkimusmatka postimpressionistiseen maalaustaiteeseen sekä sen merkitykseen niin suomalaisessa kuin kansainvälisessä taidehistoriassa. Sigurd Frosteruksen (1876-1956) keräämä taidekokoelma tuo esiin Frosteruksen syvän ymmärryksen modernista taiteesta ja aikalaisistaan.
Susanna Pettersson, Kimmo Sarje ja Sofia Aittomaa käsittelevät teoksessa taiteen keräilyä, Sigurd Frosteruksen taidenäkemystä ja kokoelman kehitysvaiheita. Kirjassa esitellään yksityiskohtaisesti Sigurd Frosteruksen säätiön kokoelma.
Teos julkaistaan yhteistyössä Sigurd Frosteruksen säätiön ja Amos Rexin kanssa.
