Luther, reformaatio ja kirja Luther, the Reformation, and the book - Luther, the Reformation, and the book - Luther, reformationen och boken
Martti Lutherin aloittama uudistusliike, reformaatio, perustui alusta alkaen painetun sanan käyttöön. Kirjan merkitys oli keskeinen luterilaiselle kirkolle ja koko protestanttiselle kristikunnalle. Teos johdattaa luterilaisuuden kirjojen pariin ja toimii samalla Kansalliskirjaston näyttelyn "Luther, reformaatio ja kirja" (7.6.-20.10.2012) julkaisuna. Näyttelyssä ovat esillä reformaation tulo Suomeen ja sitä seuranneet lukutaidon opetus ja kansankielisen kirjallisuuden julkaiseminen. Teoksen lopussa on luettelo näyttelyssä esillä olevista kirjoista ja niihin liittyvät tekstit.
