The work is a political biography, but not only that. It also describes Paasikivi's scholarly and literary work, and Paasikivi the man at home with his family. The text of the book, the first biography of Paasikivi, is by Professor Uuno Tuominen, and the pictures have been edited by Kari Uusitalo.
