Veljeni Martin on selkosuomelle käännetty mukautus Merete Mazzarellan teoksesta Den violetta timmen. Kirjassa Mazzarella kertoo veljensä Martin Schreckin elämästä. Martin oli avoimesti homoseksuaali aikana, jolloin homoja syrjittiin ja vainottiin Suomessa. Hän oli myös mukana perustamassa homojen oikeuksia puolustavaa Seta-järjestöä ja toimi sen puheenjohtajana. Tässä kirjassa Merete kertoo veljestä, jota hän rakasti, mutta jota hän ei aina ymmärtänyt. Teoksen on suomentanut ja selkomukauttanut Jolin Slotte.
