Särmä 10 valmentaa kirjoitustaidon ylioppilaskokeeseen. Kirjan opetustekstit ja mallinnukset opastavat vaihe vaiheelta, miten rakennetaan omaääninen, selkeä ja viimeistelty kirjoitustaidon vastaus. Tehtävissä harjoitellaan kirjoittamisen osataitoja, kuten kiinnostavan päänäkökulman rajaamista, tekstin sidostamista ja tyylin hiomista. Kirjoitustaidon harjoituskokeilla kootaan opitut taidot yhteen.
