Kirjassaan Tuomio: Evankeliumin unohdettu ulottuvuus ruotsalainen kirjailija ja teologi Olof Edsinger (s. 1976) osoittaa, että olisi virhe sivuuttaa Jumalan tuomiosta kertovat raamatunkohdat tai leimata ne ”ongelmateksteiksi”. Päinvastoin tuomio on olennainen osa Raamatun sanomaa. Jumalan hyvyys ja Jumalan viha - tuomiossa on kyse molemmista. Ne liittyvät niin pahan lopulliseen häviöön viimeisenä päivänä kuin Jumalan tuomioon tässä ja nyt. Tuomio kuuluu myös evankeliumin ytimeen, Jeesuksen sovituskuolemaan meidän edestämme.
Tuomio: Evankeliumin unohdettu ulottuvuus jatkaa samalla linjalla Edsingeriltä aiemmin ilmestyneen Sodat Raamatussa -teoksen (Perussanoma 2010) kanssa.
