MIKSI?
Työttömyys ennätyskorkealla, tulot ja varallisuus keskittynyt, markkinavoimat jakavat kurjuutta, valtion talous kriisissä, poliitikkojen puheet irti arkitodellisuudesta, miksi? Miksi kukaan ei kysy miksi? Miksi vuokrat nousevat; taas? Miksi työntekijöitä irtisanotaan; taas? Miksi valtion talous on alijäämäinen? Miksi ylipäätään on talouslama? Miksi pitää olla inflaatiota? Miksi köyhä köyhtyy ja rikas rikastuu? Miksi?

WHY?
Why do we have record unemployment? Why are incomes and wealth becoming concentrated in a small sector of the population? Why can market forces only distribute poverty? Why are governments faced with economic crises? And why can politicians no longer talk about everyday realities? Why? Why does nobody even ask why? Why are rents rising, again? Why are workers being laid off, again? Why is the nation?s economy in the red? Why is the economy in recession at all? Why should we have inflation? Why do the poor grow poorer and the rich grow richer? Why?

WHY NOT? Why does no one do anything about excessive housing costs and rates of interest? Why is it not possible to reduce poverty? Why are no new jobs created? Why can?t the recession be overcome? Why is nothing done about inflation or the existence of cartels? Why not?
